41 whether it be Special, Mag or Supermag. Why? because most folks don't like or gravitate to it. I always have had a tendency to run a slightly different course and I love how accurate all my 41's are.

.357 magnum...Packs alot of power, with not too bad of a recoil (with the right grips and a full steel frame). There are also MANY good factory loads for the .357 magnum, in many different bullet weights.

My vote goes for 44 magnum. In my experience it'll do anything I need it to do.
Yep, mine too. If I had to pick one, that'd be it. Mild to wild.

It's a tough choice, but it's the one I like to reload the most. Not sure why, but that 240gr Keith bullet just speaks to me.

.44 here!

(I traded one of my .44s for a .480 Ruger last fall and it's a very good weapon but for SHTF and other unforseen problems the preponderance of components .......... causes me to continue to stick with the .44)

45 COLT!!!
Can do anything a 44 can do with a MANS size bullet. Theres just nothing better for a single action than a cartridge well over a hundred years old.

My favorite revolvers are .38/.357, although I like the 9mm wheel-guns pretty well!

While I like my .44mag and .357mag hands down it has to be .22LR. Shoot all day for little money and no pain. How many of you can shoot 1000 rounds of .38spc .357mag .44mag .45c in 1 day?

32 Mag (H&R or 327 Federal, either one)

What else would I say?

I like all the others previously mentioned also. :D

Thanks,

.44Mag. I also shoot tons of .22 and quite a few .357s. I don't mind the recoil on the .44 mag. It just adds to the fun. They don't call it "a kick" for nothing.

Me too. Great minds think alike!

Bought my first 41 about 30 years ago because it was significantly less money than the various 44s available. The definition of serendipity.
Over the years I've used a 41 so much (and it's done everything I've asked) I just gravitate towards it.

It's kind of hard to choose. I have most calibers made almost everything from 17hmr to 500S&W. My favorites are 38 special 30 carbine 44 mag and 45 colt. The 38 and 30 carbine are fun plinkers the 44 and 45 are great hunting guns and plinkers. I even have a 45-70 revolver it's a good shooting gun and a fun plinker also. It would be hard to choose 1 caliber for a do all gun. I probably shoot the 38 most and keep several thousand rounds loaded for it and have several different guns that I shoot most are 357 but a few are 38 only. But honestly if I were to choose wisely probably the best choice out there would be the 22 22mag single six. Reason being ammo availability and cost and it's a everyday shooter that can be used for hunting and is just a fun all around gun. The 22 mag. Is a great little cartridge that is a sleeper most people don't realize the power that the mag has. I shot one for several years and killed 85 deer with a 22 mag. It was a rifle but the handgun will surprise you if you give it a chance.

.22LR (cheap to shoot) and .357 (though I mainly shoot .38 loads of one sort or another in mine). I'm very fond of my Smith 29-2 (.44 Mag) but truth to tell I don't shoot it that much. :( I'm also a big fan of the .45ACP with snowflake clips in revolvers, but again, I don't shoot mine as much as I do the .22 and .38/.357.
