LGS had a real nice blue Single Six (note "had") Poor thing was looking for a new home. Looks to be un-fired late seventies vintage. Only problems with it are surface rust on the sides of the hammer and no magnum cylinder. I figure some emery cloth will clean up the hammer. Missing cyl. is no biggie since I don't shoot magnums. I just don't feel right unless I have a gun on lay-a-way. And it's all your fault.

Looks like a great find - looking forward to pictures.

Try bronze wool and Kroil, and go slow. You will get rid of the rust and NOTHING else. Works on blued steel as well as bright; just use the elbow grease a little more sparingly.

The Single Six was apparently made just for my hands; not too little, not too big--j-u-u-u-s-s-t right!
