....and this past weekend I was brought, an old model RSS9, and it was still in its box and one of those robin egg lined ones, looks awesome, the gun is really nice but sadly the guy had it drilled and tapped on the top strap for a scope, but never got to use it...........made in 1972,by the serial number,,,,,,,,,

as far as I recall , the difference is the liner of the box is not the usual white paper but a color that resembles the color of a robins egg...I believe Chad tells about it in the RENE sometime back, he may "add in" a comment here for us?? it is hard enough top come across the LONGER 9 1/2 inch boxes left alone any color changes..........
