Talked to Banner Health Plan again today:
1ST They DO NOT HAVE TO GIVE ANYONE A REASON FOR DENIAL
2ND There are ALWAYS other options for illness THAN SURGERY
3RD They have NO REASON to talk to the DOCTOR, AS IT WAS DENIED, PERIOD
4TH They DO NOT HAVE TO LET ME TALK TO THE PERSON OR PERSONS THAT
ISSUED THE DENIAL
Remember, the DOCTOR was for the operation, UNITED HEALTH CARE, the ins co, is for the operation. BANNER HEALTH PLAN, is the ADMINISTRATOR, what goes and what does not go in their medical system, THEY ARE AGAINST THE OPERATION AND HAVE ISSUED THE DENIAL, & FROZEN THE ACCOUNT SO NO ONE ELSE CAN DO SURGERY AND EXPECT TO GET PAID. I guess we are done, I am fine but I hurt for my wife. AS OF 6/21/2016, 9AM, THE OK HAS BEEN GIVEN FOR THE SURGERY. THANK YOU, UNITED HEALTH INS, CHOKE ON IT BANNER HEALTH Thanks Bob

I'm very sorry for what your going through.. I know from personal experience how hard it is to deal with bureaucrats like that. It can make you pull your hair out by the roots.. Please send my warmest regards and best wishes to your wife.. It is my hope that something can be done eventually to ease her pain.

I've always maintained that the worst mistake we ever made in the medical field was allowing insurance companies to dictate to Doctors how they can treat their patients. This should have NEVER been allowed in this country. EVER.

Go directly to the hospital emergency room like illegals there will be no problem.

GET A lawyer, Have HIM talk to Banner, If they refuse, then go for the Multi-Million Dollar Law suit.
Also try contacting some of the Mass propaganda Media in your area, BOTH TV and Printed; let them "Investigate" the greedy health care "administrators" who STOLE your premiums.

In my area, on television news they have what are called "troubleshooters".
We have 3 separate people here on different channels solving problems.
A person runs up against a brick wall with beauracracy and gets overwhelmed and beaten.
These folks take over and are not afraid to cause a fuss. It's always fun to watch them chase down
some pencil neck and make them try to justify their decisions.
They have a very good success rate and they are tenacious.
If I had a problem like yours that is the first place I would go.
They are free, they get results and they certainly work faster than an attorney within the court system.
