Be careful, some of those ''blanks'' maybe shot cartridges. The military many years back loaded shot cartridges for survival for pilots and others. I had a stash of military 45 ACP shot cartridges years ago that looked like the ones in the pictures.

All the blanks are .38 or .32 or the odd one, there are no .45 blanks. Sure, they could be shot cartridges but due to their age, and being .38 S&W's I kind of doubt it.

Just for your information the .45acp rounds with the dimple or staking mark in the side of the case were for use in revolvers. The staking prevented the bullet from moving from recoil. HTH.
