Got the PM. Thanks! TLA is Texas Longhorn Arms. #5 is a single action revolver based upon ideas that Elmer Keith and others had in a series of designs. TLA has a whole story of their own and have been gone for some time now. They had several interesting models but are probably most well known for their #5. Notice that the action is mirror reversed...loading gate and ejector housing on the left side.

Bryan, I have 3 - PM me with caliber and price range. Bought this awhile back on forum - 44M w/Paul Persinger Ivories and extended grips. I also have consecutive S/N'ed dual cylinders - 44M/44Spl and 45LC/45WinMag - maybe only one made???? - I'm in CA and unfortunately would have to go FFL-FFL.
The 44M has been hardness checked by Alan Harper

PM sent. Alan Harton checking a #5 is a good thing. As many of you may know, the metallurgy varied on the TLA's and some were softer than others.
