i had a blued 2 dogs sight on my old 32 Single Six and now i have a Single Seven. i would like a stainless front sight for it i think.

does anyone have one of the 2 dogs or similar shaped stainless front sight laying around they would let go of?

Hi Joe,

Is 2 dogs still in business? I couldn't find them to see what their front sight looks like. Worse case scenario you could order a stainless front sight base from a Ruger stainless Blackhawk and drill a hole in it to screw on your single seven. You'd need the separate blade and pin to pin in it as well.

I'm not sure. There are two 2dogs on here so im not sure which one to pm.

good idea on the new base

Guys, send me a PM with your needs. I will put you on a list. That is the best I can do for now. Remember that the stainless front sight blanks are about 15 dollars MORE than the carbon steel ones. These are built one at a time on a mill and held to very close tolerances. We tried to CNC them and were not satisfied with the end product.

The main holdup on these sights for now is that doing precision work for the oil field is FAR more profitable than doing gunwork.

Hey man
I sent you one the other day but figured i had sent to wrong 2 dogs when i saw the other one come up. Will pm you for info. Thanks

I saw it Joe, just hadnt had a chance to respond. But we are caught up now on communication.

Are these drilled for a screw mount, or meant to be soldered on?

These are tall blanks. You can cut them to height. You can shorten the original screw to install or order withouth the screw hold to silver solder them on. They can be serrated, or gold bead installed or whatever.

59 for the carbon steel (for bluing) ones plus 6 for shipping.
