How about a Browning marked (made by Redfield) 3/4 tube , classic made for that type of gun. It will be way over your price point though

Though I am "thinning the herd", I picked up a Browning t-bolt with 1" rings and would like to find a nice scope. There are a number of listings of Leupold 4x for around $225.00 new and a few Burris, Redfield, etc in the used ads. I have a hard time putting something in matte on the nice blue of the Browning 
. Do you have something that is sitting lonely in the safe? It would be nice to not go over the $125.00 line, but .......

Addendum: Please give me a bit of info here. When I mentioned a rimfire scope, I thought of such with a parallax correction of 50/60 yards. Am I making this more difficult or are most scopes suitable for the shorter rimfire ranges?

If you don't care for golferboy's scope,,, I have an older Redfield 2x-7x variable, fine crosshairs for less than your budget. It's a 1" tube & in good shape.
