WTB MK II Front sight

Check Brownell's catalogue and look at the fiber optic front sights. As a last resort, you can have the sides of a regular one narrowed then have it reblued. Before bluing, remove any burrs and the present blued finish. A dip in mild acid such as muriatic used for cleaning bricks and mortar will yield a dull finish that will make for no reflections and better aiming. After the rinse from the acid, be sure to preserve it with WD-40 or oil until it reaches the person that will reblue it. Hope you get good results.

Article detailing sight mods something along the lines of what you want to do:

At one time there was a version of the above article complete with excellent pics.
No pics on this link, but info should still but should still be helpful!

The article mentions the sights from a Single-Six Hunter. Might be the quickest/easiest route(?).

Another article, briefly detailing different sight mods.:

Happy tinkering! :P

I put a Dawson precision fiber optic front sight on my Mark II.
