At my house..that goes under the category of 'Marital Contraband' ...............My wife thinks I own 1 gun and I never look at her shoes in the closet.

I wasn’t interested in what I thought was the Ruger version of the heritage 22. I was living in Houston area at the time and wanted a snake gun to leave on my zero turn. The wrangler fit that bill. Liked it so much I bought another 4-5/8 a couple days later and a super wrangler a month or so ago! I like them for what they are! Good little revolvers that don’t hurt the checkbook

I have resisted so far- mostly by buying other “must have” guns. But if an all-black Super Wrangler shows up at my local store…I might be in trouble.
Nah, you won't be in trouble......an all black one, hmmm. I think you will probably be smiling all the way home. What the heck. You only live once!

I already had to “rob Peter to pay Paul” to get the 1960 Super last week. I was just at the coast and the shop there had 6 used Single Sixes and 4 or 5 Marks. Almost bought a pristine 3 screw Super with both cylinders, but the ask was a bit high. There were a couple others that were priced right but they didn’t catch my fancy. Once I give my silver Wrangler to my grandson I’ll probably spring for a black Super Wrangler.

Yeah, I agree......I think the black is the way to.go. 6 used single sixes ?? Wow, that must have made you feel like a kid in candy store !! 😊

I have a couple Single-Sixes, three Old Model Bearcats (my first pistol and two I recently picked up for my two eldest grandsons (5&7), and now have a Davidsons limited edition Wrangler AND a Super Wrangler …

Those 5 and 7 year olds are sure going to be happy with those. It's up to "Grandpas" to teach them the value of those guns, and you as a Grandpa was sure nice to do that for them. 🙂

I sure did. The owner let me know that he would be happy to ship any of them to my hometown gun store. Still tempted on that nice Super…

I don't know if it was this thread or another but you had a post that made me laugh. It was about putting something in a "safe place" and then for- getting all about that "safe place" until you ac-cidently run into it later on. And then of course walking over to do something with a hammer or screwdriver, and then stop to look at something else. Put down the screwdriver & hammer, and then go back to the first project, and leave the tools you needed at the second location. I think the olde we get, that is what is called "wisdom".

Yep. That’s my life…100%. I sure hope you’re right- because that means I’m full of wisdom, instead of that other stuff my wife occasionally accuses me of.
