World's best Barbecue winner crowned in Memphis.

Just saw Memphis had their big barbeque contest. Wish I could have been there. In Memphis of course it's pork. No disrespect to Texas where barbeque means something equally wonderful but totally different. Heaven must serve bbq pork ribs smoked with a spicy rich sauce in my opinion.

Man! We had not one, but two, big barbecue shindigs going on here last week! The big one was the World's Champion Barbecue Cooking Contest which ws held in a mid-town park, formerlly the grounds of an amusement park. But there was Smokeslam going on down by the river. This was barbecue plus meat smokin' as well. But there was a midway and LOUD bands going on at the time. There were rumours of some drinkin' going on as well. So far as I know, nobody fell into the River.
