Wood stock for PC9?

Anyone tried to make PC9 into wooden stock? Built from scratch, or maybe modified from an existing model stock? 10/22? Mini14? Marlin Camp Carbine?
Lately I find myself slipping from "black tactical" towards the "classic" style on certain guns (many people go through that) and I thougt, since I run the PC9 in plain factory style anyway, no fancy accessories, why not having it in wood.

Ummm.... you've had yours apart, right?

You do realize when you removed the barreled action, left behind was the trigger assembly and magazine well/catch?

Inletting a wood stock for the trigger assembly and cross pins would be rather... challenging... then you'd still need a magazine well and catch.

Even though it is rendered in synthetic, the factory stock is a sporter style... if the black bothers you, maybe you can give the Krylon Fusion paint a try.

Yes, I realize it won't be too easy. That's why I ask if anyone did it before
I think the trigger assembly wouldn't be that hard to inlet though. Making a magazine well could be a challenge, though not impossible. Could also make a better mag release if I went that far already...

Not really bothered by having a black synthetic stock. Just thought about possible change to some of my rifles and don't really have any other I'd like to modify that way. All my other rifles are based either on AK or vz.58 platform, which both started with wood but both are better without it.

Any thing is possible.. but it will sure be some work and I would probably learn stock building on some other rifle that would be easier first. The Marlin Camp Carbines came with a wood stock.... then again they tended to split.
