Anyone shooting Wolf Ammo in a Mini14. I've shoot some and haven't noticed any problems. I've just run a bore snake thru the barrel to clean it, should I be doing more to clean it? Thanks, Dave

I shoot Wolf ammo fairly regular and after each session I do a quick clean. "O" problems to date

I have Wolf that I use in my Minis... Works fine. I prefer the Remmington for precision shooting, but the Wolf seems to do fine also.

Update - I have found Wolf ammo that was VERY dirty, (gritty & grimy) so I do clean the ammo before I stick it into the magazine...

I have shot thousands of ronds of Wolf brand ammo through my Mini-14 and 9mm Taurus. I have had no problems with anything thus far. I always shoot the cheeapest stuff I can find cause I love to blast the hell out of stuff just as fast as I can pull the trigger!
I just havent grown up and I DON'T WANT TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My experience:

first, it is not corrosive .... the primer determines if ammo is corrosive or not... but it is a little dirtier than most american made.... and there is the crux.... if you like to buy cheap stuff that doesn't last (i.e.: Wally World stuff made in china and other places where the workers make pennies and the guys importing the stuff have million dollar vacation homes).... then buying cheap commie Russian ammo is probably what you should do...

personally, I like to buy ammo in bulk from places like Georgia Arms.
