The slide can be refinished in Cerakote black .i was thinking of having mine done and would cost under $100.00.

In the past in the Colt world Talo put grips on guns that Colt never sold and every now and then Talo would have a few extra for sale. A for instance is one of their "Don't Tread on Me" Colt 1911s from years ago. By the way, I put those "Eagle Wings" grips I ordered off the Ruger website on my SR1911. Need pictures of those.
