not sure if anyone would be interested in other than Ruger's, but here is a Winchester 25-35 WCE August 21 1894. I would say in pristine condition. Any ideas about this beauty?

Nice gun, almost as nice as the old 38-55 I sold in 1985 to my 6th grade school teacher from back in the mid 50s............never liked it as I am left handed, BUT kept my Marlin 39A !!!! ;)

Terrible,, just terrible! It needs to be sent away,, maybe to a nicer climate than the West,, where the wonderful mountains of WNC can nurture it properly. Maybe after a long, extended stay in this area,, it could return,, in say,, 40-50 years to your climate & be appreciated!

:D :D

Seriously,, very nice!

I have a good friend who is a collector of antiques Winchesters, he likes them old and somewhat worn. That is really nice looking.
I just doing some work on a 25-35 carbine for him that had been shortened to 20" they had botched the magazine tube mount near the muzzle.

"I agree the climate here is unacceptable, so you would accept some of these as well?"

Gee,, those poor, pitiful souls! I'd have to adopt them all to assure they are well fed & cared for! :D :D

Very, VERY nice Winchester 1894 rifle. Does it have a 24" barrel and a crescent butt plate?

25-35 is an interesting caliber. It's essentially a necked down 30-30. I have a T/C Contender barrel chambered for that round.

I have an 1892 Win rifle in 32-20 with a 24" octagon barrel, metal end cap on the forearm, and a crescent butt plate. You have to be careful mounting it to your shoulder to avoid stabbing yourself with the pointy ends. While mechanically it's OK and it shoots fine, it's just one step above 'wall hanger' status appearance wise.

Looks like it's been restored, and stock had some nice shiny stuff applied. What ideas are you wanting, selling price? It's a nice looking rifle other ideas, go out and shoot it. Bore scope it to me is a must for condition. Just looking down a clean bore won't cut it.

I would think it’s been restored since it barely has a scratch. Knowing how he stored most of non shooting guns it probably hasn’t been touched or seen daylight for decades.

Here’s a few others.
1892 25-20
1886 40-82 with initial of cas 🫣
1892 32
1892 25-20
1894 30
Model 50 30
1894 25-35 With the shiny stuff, definitely restored
And the Centennial 66s, 1 has a longer barrel with boxes.

would serial numbers on these make a difference? All have 6 #’s except model 1886 with 5.
as I will post others, he had a thing for serial numbers. Especially with Rugers.

I was guessing that, but the English language and how it's used is hard to understand sometimes just what a person really means. All the photos shown are some nice guns and warms my heart to see them no matter who has or displays them.
Asking the question, "Ideas" has always meant let's discuss what to do with or about something. Guessing I am old school.

Ya my English is sometimes between a teenager, a married man and a bored man.
But I did get some “Idea’s” from some people , so I appreciate the feedback.
