YES SIR! ...and I love it! ...it is rock solid ...maintains zero ...a tad bulkier than a drill and tap senario [which I refuse to do to any gun] ...I have not seen the Weaver mount in person you refer to so I cannot give you that comparison other than a picture of the weaver which appears that the front "claw" goes just past center of the barrel largest diameter point where the williams goes completely around the barrel just as scope rings encompass a scope tube ...I traded for mine used so no paper work came with it but an important note if you do get the Williams is that after you remove the rear sight on the BH you will use the milled sight area for the rear attachment of the Williams and then of course the front barrel band making sure that you have pushed the mount all the way backwards before tightening everything ...now here is the important final touch ...on the REAR of the Williams mount are two small screws just above the hammer that are running the same way as the bore ...TIGHTEN THESE AGAINST THE BH FRAME ...they keep the recoil pressure off of the whole mount system ...I am almost sure the mount I got had never had those screws "activated" ...so I wonder if it ever gave satifactory service?? ...this rig is mounted on a 7 1/2" Super Blackhawk 44 Mag shooting full house 240 grain loads ...one last side note ...the screw that comes out of the BH sight in not long enough to use to mount the Williams mount which should come with the correct screw ...if like mine ..it was lost ...you will need a 6X48 screw about 4-6 threads longer than the screw that came out of your BH sight
