Just got word from a friend that Bill Jr. passed away this am. He had been fighting cancer and had been in a nursing home. Those are the only details I know right now.....may God grant his family strength and comfort.

Wow.
While he was not his father,, he did have some good influence at the Company when he was there. THe 357 Maxi comes to mind first.
May he RIP.

While I never met the gentleman, I do feel a depth of gratitude to him for helping get my favorite caliber to the firing line; the 357 Maximum.

Sr, Jr, and David Bradshaw deserve the nod for all their work and diligence as the founders of that world class cartridge. I will always remember the stories David has shared with us of working with Bill Jr. and the Ruger family. A family we shall not see the likes of again anytime soon.

I want to send out a special condolence to Lee and David. Their continuing efforts to help us all is just a continuance of the legacy of that fine family.

Prescut
A sad day for all of us.
