The Wiley Clapp SP-101 came home with me today. Seems to be made just as well as my old scratched up SP-101, which will now be retired. :mrgreen:

Interesting too that you'd mention this as a squirrel shooter. Let me share another dumb little story.
Out west, in some of the drier areas, we have a pesky little critter we call a Sage Rat. Not a rat at all, but a variation of ground squirrel. They are extremely destructive to alfalfa crops, and it is big sport to help the farmers by shooting as many of these rats in a day as humanly possible. .22 rimfire and .22 centerfires are what's most common to see in these rat fields, but my brother-in-law took a different approach. He had an old K-38 that he'd load up with wad cutters, and he was extremely effective in thinning the herds of rats. Great fun!
