Confused, jealous wife stabs husband after seeing her younger self in old photos

Talk about a bad day. I wasn't married to her but I was with an extremely jealous woman for about 6 months years ago. Thankfully I figured out that I would rather be alone than be miserable & got away from her. It stinks to get harassed every day when you haven't done anything.

Sometimes seeing an old photo can lead to sadness and not jealousy. A few years ago my daughter in law was looking at a bin of old photos we keep in a big wooden box in the family room. She held up one photo of a really pretty and shapely young woman and asked me "who is this?". My wife was sitting beside me and got the saddest look on her face since the photo was of her from about 50 years ago. Oddly, as much as I admired the photo, and accept the reality that my wife does not look like that anymore, I was not sad in the least since I am still crazy in love with this woman. Even if at my age and condition I can't do as much about that love as I used to.

I was showing a picture of my son and his then GF now wife to a old friend and he was hard to convince that it wasn’t me and the wife.

I can't click on a "like" button so this will have to substitute.

A few years ago I shaved my beard off. I had it 40+ years. Everybody said I looked younger. I wondered who the old guy in the mirror was.
