Why is it Ruger is not producing the white birdshead grips? The used to come on the old model birdsheads.
Now that they are producing them again I thought they would start producing the white grips again for them on their site but nothing. When will they start making them again?

Production depends on demand or in this case, perhaps previous sales. If there wasn't enough demand to keep them before...

Current production birdshead grip revolver is the Nifty little Bearcat Shopkeeper. Would look sweet with white grips.

It is limited distribution through Lipsey's... check it out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Ox7FV52Iqo

Got mine!! Best of luck finding yours, Schloss. Viking Queen

they were probably "model" specific, just for that run, NOT for future sales....wonder what they do now that Lett no longer is in business, and many of the early on "white" ( faux ivory) grips that break off on the front corner, when in use..they used to replace them for 'free' if you sent the broken one in,,,,,,,,,but now???
Hogue I believe makes the grips for Rugers now, try them.............

I recall the white ones being on the first run of the 22/22M Birdshead. . . . .eahhhh?

Maybe on some of the early blue guns???

I know they are rare as hens teeth, however there are a few custom grip makers that will make you a set.
