I am a Tennessee Squire also and I like my Jack. I do have others that have been given to me over the years. I also have one bottle of Canadian Club, unopened, that my dad won at a Knights Of Columbus meeting probably 50 years ago (he never drank any harder that iced tea (sweet) his whole life) and it sat on a shelf in the basement until he moved into a assisted living facility a year before he died. I got it as we cleaned out the house.

I have traveled to 50 or so countries in the world and have accumulated some liquors that I cant get here like:
Zubrowka from Poland that has a blade of grass in the bottle, that's another story. I found it in Panama and also Taiwan, then it came to Ohio in a different bottle without the blade of grass and for 5 times the price. Pirassununga, a liquor made from sugar cane That will get you drunk immediately after the second drink. Ricardo, a mango rum (I forgot exactly where I got it). Lucid, an absinthe made before the ban. Stirrings Ginger.
But some that I like is 1792 Burbon, Lunazul Tiquila, and Luksusowa Vodka, and my absolute favorite is Butterfly Cannon Blue Tequila.

I agree with Wendy on the mixers. I always felt adding sugar to Alcohol is like mainlining it to the brain.

I'm afraid my taste in whiskey would cause others to cringe. But I like Canadian Mist.

My dad drank Canadian whiskey and so do I! Good stuff IMHO

Is that a current picture and price? BT sells out when its available and is double the cost. Most stores jack up the price to well over $50 a bottle.

On a trip to Europe I sat at a large round table of colleagues and a waitress went around to take drink orders, when she got to our Grenock Scotland rep she asked our HUGE red haired, bearded rep what he'd like... "I'll ave' a skotch lassie". To which she said "on the rocks?" He SLAMMED his ginormous fist on the table and all of the table ware jumped while he yelled, "I'll be takin' me skotch the way GOD intended man to be drrrinkin' it!"

She was visibly shook up and said, "Straight up sir?" "Aye lassie" he replied

Me? My Vodka is for Vodka soaked Russian sour cherries, Tanqueray for the few times I have a year Gin & OJ, and a bottle of Baccardi select for bourbon chicken.

Ezra Brooks was a very good low cost bourbon, then they went high end, have not tried the expensive version yet. Wiggly Bridge is also very good.

Mine is Wild Turkey but the 80 proof stuff... straight on ice. For good or bad I do about 3 shots every night more often than not with a cigar. Have just gotten my screen porch back to a degree.... it's in rough shape and needs to be rebuilt but I'm comfortable sitting on it since they took the 3 oak trees off of it.

It was too early yesterday afternoon (6:00) for the Wild Turkey and so I had a Guiness instead... here our porch post Helene.

Wiggly Bridge is also very good.

We used to go to Maine every summer and we'd stop at the big NH liquor store at the I-93 rest area on our way. I bought some Wiggly Bridge one trip and I guess I liked it well enough to buy another bottle the following year and still have that one, unopened. It is made in Maine and not yet sold in VT.

This was our first summer not going after the sisters that inherited their family beach house that we used to rent decided it was time to cash in. It was a small 3 BR, 1BA bungalow sandwiched between the McMansions on Saco Bay. Location, location, location... they listed it for $1.4 mil and it sold quickly for $1.575 mil.

WT 101 never disappoints. I gave up on JD when they lowered the proof to 80. 90 is my minimum.

I guess I’m no fun. I haven’t had a drink in years. Back in the day, I would drink Tangeray and tonic with a lime most of the night. Decided I didn’t need it anymore, after I heard a preacher say, kids excuse in excess, what parents excuse in moderation. Decided I didn’t need that.
