Which scotchbrite pad replicates the brushed stainless on the new 44 spc flat tops?

Red has been my best match. Green is too abrasive, but if you are careful and do the whole gun, it doesn't really matter.

You can buy a single Scotch Brite green pad (about 6"X6") at Ace Hardware for about 2 bucks. Should be enough to refinish 2 or 3 guns.

I use the white ones, cut from a elertric floor buffer pad. They are softer than the green and more forgiving in I have a senior moment.
They all work fine if you make sure to go "with the grain" and keep short even strokes with light to moderate pressure. I use a little Ballistol or Breakfree on the pad when getting to the fine finished stage.
