Okay, so I am moving out of Rugers for Collecting. I own a LNIB Redhawk 45 ,Colt 7.5 w rings. A 4 digit High Polish Super, a very Early Bisley 45 Colt and an OM 45 Colt. Which one do others think is the one to keep? I am torn b/w my Redhawk and OM Super. I do think the Redhawk has the most mainstream appeal. And that being said will be the easiest to move in general if I ever had too....

Well I would keep them all but to answer your question I would keep either the OM or the redhawk. Both of those would be very easy to sell if you ever had to.Now about that Bisley 45....I don't have one of those yet and if you decide to part with it I would be interested.May I ask why you are getting away from the Rugers?

All of these guns are desirable, and all can make folks go to wishing. Me personally, I prefer the OM actions and I lean towards the 45 Colt's myself. So,, I'd keep that one. But, once you make the decision, you need to bring them to the East Coast gathering. There,, they may enjoy the trip so much, they might want to stay!

I moving away from Rugers for collecting because I have been cheating on them with Colt Single Actions. Two timing is just not right:) The early Bisley is at least 98 Percent. It was made in 1987 and the loading gate is turning plum.

What is the East Coast Gathering? And I can see your point of view on the OM 45. To be honest, it has been slow to sell....

I believe the old model .45 is the rarest and perhaps the one that would continue to escalate in value fastest. Bob

So....the typical response is either the redhawk or O.M. 45 Colt. I will say that the O.M. 45 Colt has been slow to sell. Its in the Classifieds:) However, if I put the Redhawk up or out anywhere it would be gone! Generally people rave about Redhawk 45 Colts...

Redhawks have been rare due to not being manufactured for while in my belief it has inflated prices a tad. bob
