Where did the Redhawks go?

as far as i know they quit the 5 1/2" and 7 1/2" models and are only doing the 4 "
There is a 5.5" one in the classifieds here.

I've heard of canted barrels, but this problem looks "eggs-ceptionally" bad.
Or, just maybe, "The yolk's on you."
Sorry, it was the best I could do on the spur of the moment. 8)
Somebody help me out- there has to be a joke in this, regarding "which came first- the short Shorthawk or the egg?"

Actually that is the finished product. It was a photo trick gone bad. I took two pictures of my 7.5" Redhawk and spliced them together. A few minutes of photoshop trickery Jimbo can probably have both a normal looking array of plants AND a normal looking barrel.

One of my dealers got in one of each model well over a year ago 4" 44, 4" 45, 5 1/2" 44, and 7 1/2" 44 and most of those are sold but I believe the 7 1/2". Haven't seen any new ones since then anywhere else

Its supply and demand to an extent. Its gouging when for example a model is discontinued and all of the sudden they become rare (even though they were catalogued for years) and they sit on gb at twice the going rate running the same ad forever...

Gunbroker has 3 pages of Redhawks and yes, most of them are over priced, but I saw three or 4 that look like they could be bought for 550 or so.
Since the wholesale price of the Redhawk is around 650, that is not too bad....for a good one. 8)

Well, I have always been fond of the saying "even a blind squirrel gets a nut once and awhile".
Walked into the shop today and there it was. A 7.5 redhawk with pachs on it, like new shape for $525.00. Didn't even argue on price.
Are the grip frames for the redhawk and super redhawk the same?
(will the grips fit both)

Mike56, as soon as Ruger makes another production run of Redhawks the prices on Gunbroker will drop like a rock. Just keep waiting and looking. Something will come along. I would check Davidson's from time to time for a new run.
