I have to say I had never heard of any one having a bounty put on their head from 'Nam' and I have no clue what he meant by the Kitty liter episodes". and I'm not sure that ever got explained.. and the way he writes stuff does seem to be a little on the 'altered' side... not saying he is just saying it reads that way. That first post actually reads that way even if you throw out the "nam' and kitty litter... he does not have permission (from who and why) but is doing it anyway (what the funk?).... that statement prompts so many questions and such it is almost impossible to get a grip on it.

Many of the folks I used to work with went on to be Border Agents or continued to do interdiction flights. Nowadays they are basically in such a program. Their families are constantly harassed by DOXING, the Drug Dealers have set bounties based on a standard scale, and Uncle Sam has put everything behind the curtain for their protection along with keeping poor publicity under wraps. So compared to their current condition, Today is a easy day for me.
Guess I'll just continue to carry out of habit.

If you were in Vietnam in 1970, I'm going with older than Tom Cruise. More like my age 75ish. Everybody is taller than 5'7" so going with taller.
