Not sure about 22 ammo. I am curious of anything of substational value. Saw some Ruger AR 15s cheaper. Story going arpound is they over stocked for the elections. I think that may be possible for lots of stuff. I saw another AR on armslist, guy said he bought before election.
Price of 22 doesn't move my needed. Like to see some big sales. Not that I wouldn't buy some if I saw it on sale.

Dick's Sporting Goods here has so much .22lr in stock that they put it back on the regular shelves instead of keeping it behind the counter. 7 or 8 different types, 4-9 cents a round, add in my Dick's Scorecard and I can get Federal 325 packs for 2-3 cents a round when it's on sale(which is every other week, BTW).
Well it's plentiful here in southern California. The cheapest has been about 6 cents a round. They don't keep it behind the counter anymore either. It's all out where the other ammo is now. Never any limits either. Walmart in my area is also doing roll backs on ammo.

Cabelas had 1400 rd buckets of Remington 22lr for 90 bucks and Federal 325 rd boxes for about 20. Of course they had none in stock.
The winchester white box in southern California is 10.97 for the 222 at walmart when they have it...13.47 at basspro. The 555 are 27-30 so no change on those.
Thunderbolts were 30 at basspro 500 rounds. 36.99 at another local store. I haven't seen 555 in a while now that I think about it.

Ummm ok...I never said I bought any did I? I'm asking a question on what people think the low will be per round. Me giving recent prices doesn't equal me buying any does it? It's called a comparison. If someone NEEDS it they should buy some now because the prices have fallen a good amount...or if they see a really good sale.

The places I go to are about 45-55 or so minutes from you I'd say. Dont quote me on that lol. I go to Turners in Chino hills. Basspro shops in Rancho Cucamonga. Most turners will all carry the same stuff so maybe one is closer to you.
Flooded is probably a stretch lol..but it's available is maybe a better way to put it.

I've still got a box or two of really old stuff, 50 rounds for less than a dollar. And, my dad thought that was expensive.

Lots of the weird stuff available here in North Dakota. Lots of Aguila, Ely etc. It's hard to find Remington Golden bullets in the brick or 100 round slide top boxes. Its the same with mini mags. I can't figure out why CCI was making tons of regular speed .22 and virtually quit producing the mini mags during the shortage? Hopefully my regular brands will come back.
Lots of Aguila here also but my local store does have the remington 100 round slide top boxes. Mini mags are available also. That''s why I'm so surprised we have what we do. I did see a price drop in the bucket o bullets. It was $100 now it's 85 which is still to much I'd say. I'm waiting as long as I can to see if prices drop more but I'll be being some shortly.
Aguila really flooded our market here. Every store had that at one point and still does. I've shot some and it seems fine aside from the weird smell of it lol. The Aguila is the brand that's really full on the shelves at the moment. Hope it comes into your local area soon.

Hey y'all, I started a poll about 4 days ago in the rim fire section. Add a vote if you haven't, peoples opinion on where the prices will stabilize is kinda interesting I think. Makes no difference really, but lately price has been as much an issue as availability.

I really doubt if you will ever see $10 - $15 a brick (500) .22's ever again. The 333, 325, 400, etc round cartons sell for $17- $25. I consider .05 a round cheap any more. Try and find a good 40 Gr "Standard Velocity" target round for under $40 a brick.
Well the average brick here (500) rounds was 50+ bucks last year. Cci standard velocity was on sale for 38.90 a brick the other week regular price is 70 lol. A small gun shop near me has federal champion bricks for 39 so it's making its way down.
I'm guessing 5 cents a round will probably be about the low.

I scored some Federal AutoMatch at WM yesterday for $17 plus change less my wife's employee discount so it wound up to about a nickel a pop. The first time they've I've seen it there in months.
