What now?

Just ordered a 40107 22/45 with 4 extra magazines to hopefully take to a Pistolseed clinic. So other than maybe a good looking set of 1911 grip panels what should I consider doing to/with this pistol and which of I am sure many options is the best choice for each thing recommended?

Depending what your plans are for the pistol if you are going to just shoot it for target shooting I recommend the Volquartsen trigger kit upgrade. I did the kits to both if my MKIV's. It shortened the length of pull and dropped the pull down to about 2 to 2.5lb. I also recommend breaking it in with good quality high velocity ammo like CCI mini mags.

Go put 500-plus rounds through it and see what you have and how you like it.
Then decide if it needs anything.
