"What is privilege?....
"Privilege is wearing $200 sneakers when you've never had a job.
"Privilege is wearing $300 Beats headphones while living on public assistance.
"Privilege is having a Smartphone with a Data plan which you receive no bill for.
"Privilege is living in subsidized housing where you don't have a water bill, where rising property taxes and rents and energy costs have absolutely no effect on the amount of food you can put on your table.
"Privilege is the ability to go march against, and protest anything that triggers you without worrying about calling out of work and the consequences that accompany such behavior.
"Privilege is having as many children as you want, regardless of your employment status, and [to] be able to send them off to daycare or school you don't pay for.
"Privilege is sending your kids to school early for the before-school programs and breakfast, and then keeping them there for the after-school program...paid for by the people who DO HAVE TO DEAL WITH RISING TAXES AND COSTS! ...you know, us so-called 'PRIVILEGED' the ones who pay while you TAKE TAKE TAKE!"

That is excellent!!

I got to thinking last night(yeah, it's dangerous territory) about several of the things mentioned on that list of privileges. I grew up in the 50's and 60's and can well remember the comments linked to similar stuff in that time.
Darned few "welfare" cases back then and the disdain for living on handouts was severe.
Having more kids than one could feed was another serious issue. I had an Uncle in this group. Both Dad and myself supported him to the point of taking some of his kids to raise.
Lots of families were "poor". Some by choice and some by plain old bad luck. The ones who made bad choices didn't get much slack but others who had the gitty up to try but still failed were treated better.
I hadn't seen a "riot" until MLK got into the act. Probably because people were too busy trying to put food on the table.
There wasn't any "free lunch" at school but I'm sure the teachers might have slipped lunch money into the kitty now and then for those kids who only got fed school lunch.
"Subsidized housing" was a ramshackle house(?) with no running water, no phone, maybe electricity, and wood donated by some gracious neighbor.
Makes no diiference what "color" the group may be, the "welfare/entitlement class" has become the anchor around the neck of society.

back in the 50-60's.....we use to note all the new cadilacs parked in front of slum rents.
nothings changed. every generation has its toys.

I doubt very much, the mayor said that too.

I happen to know a young, unmarried, non-working, woman who has 5 kids by 4 different men. She has a top of the line cell phone, public housing, and food stamps. I honestly do not know about her car but do know she has one. Where doesn't the gas money come from? Now to be very honest I have not seen her in some time so, other then the amount of kids (I do know that part won't change), all the rest could have changed though I doubt it.

Then there was the "protected species" woman in the 3-1-3 getting out of a $60K Escalade wearing a $1500 hair weave holding a $800 iPhone in a $300 manicure crying, "I canst pays my water bill!"

An outstanding product of LBJ's "Great Society" programs.

They are everywhere... It boggles the mind at how people think....
No work ethic... just gimmi gimmi... especially the young people I see.... They can't handle a half day of easy work... I guess earning the $$$ is just to hard....

Pretty good! Here is another example:

Privilege is being able to claim that blacks can't be racist while all other peoples on planet Earth are racist. Privilege is blacks living all over the globe claiming that they are failures in whichever country, culture and society because blacks are persecuted. Privilege is even in Africa with a HUGE black majority and still it being a sewer and claiming racism is holding an entire continent back. Privilege is saying that whites in communities are keeping blacks down while also saying that white flight is destroying black communities. Privilege is being able to riot, loot and destroy your own neighborhood and claiming racism if someone points that out. Privilege is demanding and getting generations old companies to change labels such as Aunt Jemima and Uncle Ben's because a fraction of the population claims racism. Privilege is never being held accountable for negative actions and being able to blame all other people living on the globe. Privilege is having blacks and BLM blackmail and hold hostage an entire society(United States) to their demands. Privilege is demanding and having a huge societal and cultural change happen because a small minority will call racism. Privilege is demanding trillions of dollars in reparations which will never happen but if it did years down the road another extortion of money would follow saying it still isn't enough. Along those lines is the generation or so of affirmative action which if anybody called that enough had been done that would be described as racism.

Good posts here tonight. Privilege is Governor of Minnesota asking for 500M to rebuild all that rioting tore up. Come on all you taxpayers!! Don’t be racist.

If you couldn't pay for your lunch at the elementary school I went to back in the 50s in East Tennessee you worked for it. Boys would work outside or sweep and mop the halls and girls would work the lunch room cleaning tables and washing dishes.

Privilege is becoming a mother at 15 or 16 and getting all sorts of adult benefits while dodging the responsibilities.
Privilege is claiming your problems are the result of the after effects of slavery-which was abolished 155 years ago.
Privilege is claiming your problems are the result of the after effects of slavery even though your family has lived for generations in a historically free state.
Privilege is claiming you have been the victim of "Jim Crow"-when you never experienced it.
Privilege is being able to call members of your group "race traitors" when they don't conform to your standards of behavior.
Privilege is being able to denounce others as "bigots" when they reject you for your bad behavior.
Privilege is when anyone else has what you want.

I was discussing "PRIVILEGE" with an old classmate (class of 68) a few days ago. I couldn't find a benefit but buddy figured his privilege was working two fulltime jobs for twenty seven years!
