I was reading the 'news' this morning and noticed that a big 'issue' is being made about Bristol Palin being pregnant. I was wondering what is so special about that? I also wonder just how many other ladies are in the family way today? I know that my granddaughter is but I haven't seen her name in any news posts. What IS important in daily life today? I sometimes wonder.

I'm an American, I do not believe in royalty, nor put anyone on pedestals, as in I could care less what happens to this poor celeb, or the other, or "sports star" or.. In the case you mentioned, its the further slurring of the Palins.

I Love reading the covers of them scandal magazines right at the grocery check out; I'm STILL waiting for Bill Clinton to die as they reported he was doing six months ago (maybe Hillary was a bad shot ??); I cant recall all the others BUT they are entertaining while waiting for them to finish checking out your shopping !!

I think a reasonably bright 7-year old could make the observation that "there are countless news items every day." It's a fact, and might even be considered "logical," but makes no point. It's certainly not profound in any way. :roll:
