What am I missing?

Hello everybody.

I have acquired yet another Ruger Single Action revolver  to add to my "accumulation" (I can't call it a "collection" - sorry). It's a 38-40 / 10mmm Buckeye. I bought the other Buckeye (32 H&R Mag / 32-20) back in the mid -90's. 8)

I also have a 30 Carbine BlackHawk, a 327 8-shot SS BlackHawk, 357 - 9mm Convertible, 41 Magnum, various 44 SPL Flattops including the SS 4-5/8", 4-5/8"blue and 5-1/2"blue and the Bisley 5-1/2". I have a SBH 10.5" 44 Mag and a 45 Colt BlackHawk as well. Phew.

Just talking centerfire here and only factory chamberings, what am I missing? I guess the convertible 44 Mag / 44-40?

I won't even try to get all the Vaqueros, New Vaqueros, etc or all the variants of the rimfires. I'm broke as it is.

I know y'all can help me out here.

Thanks for the help in advance,

How about the 357 MAXIMUM......in both barrel lengths....hurry before COOGS buys them all......I have a box of experimental ammo to go with them once you gettem.....RR.

well I was beat to the punch.....I do have a 480 I would sell ......I bought it new when they came out and have never fired it.....sold the 454 already....

Having them, is one thing. Getting them dirty on a regular basis is where the fun comes in. steve b

Rod................don't think I'll quite get them all........................But......I am trying.................that is if i can stop the flow of #1's into my gun room................Love ya, Coogs.

Thanks for the replies. I thought about the 44Mag/ 44-40 convertible SBH but totally missed the 357 Maximum. I may let that one lie - who knows?

As to the 454 and 480, were they offered in Single Actions by Ruger? I missed that if it came to pass. I didn't think Ruger would offer it in a SBH. Was it a 5 shot?

I do have a 32Mag Single Six :adj sight 6-1/2" (The Ruger that started it all in '85).

The 45Colt I have is not a convertible with the ACP but I'll get a cylinder or buy one from a friend when he needs to sell something. Good catch on that one.

Looks like I have my work cut out for me on acquiring a few more. The 44-40 Convertibles must be somewhat rare as I can't recall seeing one on the Classifieds. Max's come occasionally so maybe a shooter will pop up.

Maybe I'll get them all for Christmas. Santa, are you listening?

Thanks,
