The other day I picked up a few 3-screw Ruger Single-Sixes from a fellow forum member. While 2 of them are pretty nice original guns, this one has seen better days but has lots of character for a Type 1, roundgate, 56 year old gun. After some cleaning up of the lockwork and reattaching the cylinder stop spring, it seems to be functioning fine....... PS the grips are obviously not original, but everything else is....

I have a few like that. Lots of character.
Interesting that someone took the time to fit a set of much newer stocks to an XR3 gripframe there.

Well, I am. 8) This was a very inexpensive item. I will shoot it for function and then decide which way to go.....
