I have seen pictures are of secutity six with bobbed hammer. Did the factory produce them that way? If so did they come with out single action notch on hammer?

I am sure they were factory bobbed.
You can also run into DAO guns with a Hammer Spur. They retained the Spur on Duty Revolvers so that the Safety Strap was still functional on the holster.

Security Six, probably not.
Service Six and Speed six, yes.

The 'Speed Hammer' as Ruger called the spurless hammer, would be a drop in for a Security Six and is found with and without a single action notch.
The hammers show up from time to time on E-bay and Gunbroker.com.

A while back I bought a spurless factory hammer with the serrations on top for a Speed Six I had from Numrich. It still has the single action notch. Were there some without?

Apparently so, some say. I just received/installed a bobbed hammer and it is SA/DA. Works both ways too!
