I am looking for a stainless fixed sight ROA in very good to NIB condition, I would prefer a 5 1/2" but would consider a 7 1/2".

Good luck, I know late last year ,just before our friend Fred passed away, he sold his "shorty" stainless Old Army and got like 4 times what he paid for it....they went 'nutz' in price.....

I have a set of these with consecutive serial numbers, are you sure you don't need two? What did you plan on paying for an OA in good condition? Mine have the 5.5" barrels and imitation Ivory grips and have been used very little. Email me at [email protected] if you want a photo of them.

I was just checking an auction site and saw five different Ruger Old Army SS with the 7.5" barrel and fixed sights listed, prices were $520 to $1100. Also listed was one with the 5.5" barrel and a wild starting price attached to it. Most of these guns have the boxes, manuals, and other stuff that came with them available to go with the gun. When I bought the two I bought, they were used, and I got only the two guns. At that time the seller made a big deal of consecutive serial numbers, and I suppose the importance of that is up to the individual.

I just bought a new in box "ivory" grip 7 1/2" fixed sight stainless model first year gun (94) on gunbroker for $699. The guy listing it apparently has a load of these things he lets go one at a time. Last one he sold at $999 . This one started high and he dropped the price as the auction got older. He just listed another starting at $899 and he's already dropped it to $799.
