anybody who even thinks of sending any gun part out of the country better investigate the law. You can't even ship a scope direct I believe. The buyer would have to arrange for a legal freight exporter.
Yes, you should check the laws, it seems that "anything that can be used to make war" or is on the ban list can't be shipped, and could be seized. Especially the higher capacity mags, and yea, I've seen the ebay listings that won't ship scopes overseas.

What exactly were you going to do with the mini-14 magazines?

They have mini-14s there, they just aren't semi-auto. Check with sportsmansguide.com - if you are willing to wait they are willing to let you backorder them. Also 44mag.com had some at one point. Either of them may ship to the UK.

In the uk we have them as straight pull, ruger made these without gas system to comply with uk law. In target shooting competition we do 10 shots so the standard 5 round mag is no good given that the rifle bolt has to be cycled everytime it's fired.
aren't your mini's 222 not 223?
I think this is the same individual that has emailed a whole bunch of sellers on The firing line/The high road /Ar15.com/Glock Talk/etc... (under different user names) trying to get them to ship gun mags/parts to the UK.
