My local store went out of business. I found this available http://www.thatpetplace.com/pet/prod/235216/product.web

When it got here I was disappointed, it is much finer than I had been using. After a few hundred very dirty .45 colt cases I have changed my mind. Very nice. I do put a bit of brass polish and some Nu Finish car polish in it.

Try calling a feed and grain store. You'll have to buy about a fifty pound sack (split it up with a few friends), but you'll be plesantly surprised at the price.

Thanks for the tips where to look for media. I use corn cob media to clean and than walnut media to polish. I use two tumblers.

There are plenty of pet stores around here but thanks anyway. Last time I bought some was about 2 years ago. I change part of my tumbler media periodically. I use a combo of 50% crushed Walnut Shells and 50% crushed Corn Cob with a squirt of Hornady case polish. (cleans and polishes in one step) :D
