I believe both of these are 1950 catalogs but they are different. Would like to hear from anyone that has both of these versions to determine if they are indeed 1950 (perhaps early & late version) -
Fronts appear to be the same but on the inside note the difference in the descriptions of the each part. Also the order blank is a bit different. I tried to show pictures of the differences.

The part that amazes me is GW having AUTO stuff

When you want to get rid of that stuff give me a call :!: :!: :!: RR

Gary,
My two 1950 catalogs show the early one as just having the 4 3/4" Standard Automatic, a two page foldout with an order form, and this one seems to be the one that was shipped with many of the early Red Eagles.
My Late 1950 Catalog shows the 4 3/4" Standard Automatic as well as the "NEW" 6 7/8" Target Automatic, and again a two page fold out.
Seems you have something interesting there, and I don't know where it fits in? Hank

Note that the one catalog has "Barrel" listed twice. They are both 1950 catalogs to me (early type with order form, and without the Mark I), but the one where "Barrel" is listed twice would probably be the earlier of the two since it would seem to be a printing error.
You know, this 1950 catalog is probably the rarest of them all anyway, but the printing error example may be a lot rarer than the one without the error.
Also...if the extra line "Read Instructions Below carefully Before Filling Out Order Blank" is in the catalog with "Barrel" only listed once, then again, it would make sense that the catalog with this extra line is the revised "edited" version.

Oh yes...a great find Gary!! Wonder if Donnie has both of those in his stash???

Just looked at my 1950 catalog and it does have barrel length listed twice, but also has the line "Read Instructions Below carefully Before Filling Out Order Blank". Does that mean there are three different variations??

Three variations. Crap. I still need ANY 1950 catalog as it's about the only "hole" in my set. Sheesh!
Ok, we need pics of all 3 variations posted!

Whew,,,,! I was going to see about printing copies of the pics above & wait on Chad to post his.
It's the little details like this that keeps us looking hard at older stuff!
