I am thinking of selling my SP 101, .357 with 3 " barrel, dating to 1996. Less than 50 rounds down the pipe and in very good condition. Any thoughts to what a fair price might be? Thanks.

I waited a long time to buy one new, and one finally arrived at a nearby Bass Pro. I paid full sticker for it, since they had been hard to find since 2012, around here. Supply seems to have improved, and I think that Buds has SP101's for $500. For one in near-new condition, I would ask $425, and go from there. Better yet, see if you can get a read on your local market for this gun, and see if it might bear more.

I think $425 is a pretty fair price. Too many folks are trying to get new gun prices and it just doesn't work. I was at a gun show a couple of weeks ago and was surprised more people than Bud's are selling them at $500 new.

I agree about people wanting new prices out of used guns. I think $400 to $425 is about right. If I found it in the condition you described for $400, I'd buy it just to have another truck gun.
