Value of single six

I'm thinking of selling my SS convertible 22/22mag its 5 years old and in good shape. What i would to know is what kind of price would be fair. I have a few friends that are interested in it and just want to be fair the mag has never been shot.

Well, if it's only 5 yrs old,, and nothing special about the model,, I'd suggest that "normal current market" prices would rule. Check Gunbroker for completed sales for guns like yours to get a good idea as to what it's worth.

Around here, probably $325 or so - a great bargain at that price IMHO, but that's what they run for nice used ones.

Thanks I looked at Gunbroker and some of the asking prices for used are close to what you can buy new. I was thinking $375

That would be a fair asking price in my opinion - a good deal for both buyer and seller. Good luck with your sale.

What is the barrel length?

Fox Mike I think it's the 6 1/2 barrel I'm at work now so not sure. does that make a difference in value?

Barrel length only makes a difference when it's an odd one,, such as a 4-5/8" one.

There are no cheap Single-Sixes in my area. New, used, abused, etc. all bring good money. If they are on an auction the price skyrockets regardless of condition...

Check the completed auction section. Asking prices for new, uncompleted auctions are meaningless.
