Picked up the NIB 10/22 USST the other week. And I thought I would post pics as I was checking and cleaning guns in the safe today. I prefer the 1st model 10/22 USST over the later models. Anyone know how many of the 1st 10/22 USSTs were produce. Also any other Ruger USST memorabilia out there.

You mean USST stuff with a Ruger connection or just USST stuff in general?

Go to www.gunblast.com and check out Harrisburg RCA show for March 2010. There was a NICE display with a lot of USST stuff!

Someplace I have a large advertising poster of the USST III 10/22. Sure there were some for the other models as well. I know I've seen one-sheets for the MKII models too.

Here's what I have on that one, from the reference...

10/22-USST (Ruger model 1171) special distributor model. Features a red, white and blue mixed layer laminate Barracuda style stock with Target hammer forged heavy barrel and USST logo. Known s/n range USST00001 to USST02008 (or USST2016?). A total of 2,016 10/22-USST were ordered in 2006 by Ruger’s TALO group of distributors (Camfour (MA), L.M. Burney (TX), Davidson’s (AZ), Hill Country (TX), V.F. Grace (AK), Lipsey’s (LA) and Bill Hick’s (MN). Note that s/n USST2008 was to be highly embellished and auctioned at the 2005 S.H.O.T. show with auction proceeds to go the the USST, but the auction did not occur and the rifle is not believed to have been embellished.Chet15
