the base of the windmill is extraordinary, and still my ultimate choice.

AWESOME pictures for sure....I really do look forward to checking this forum every day to see if YOU have posted any new pictures! I think you have awesome photographic talent.

So...would you be so kind as to add which camera and lens you used to take these incredible pictures and if you did any post-processing? My interests have shifted a little from shooting guns to shooting pictures. Trying to learn more about this new digitial "fad."

Phalanx: Thank you for the kind comments, I really enjoy photography,I did film for years but digital is great. For the windmill shots I used a Canon 5Dcamera and a canon 70-200mm f2.8 L lens on the long end at f16. Thanks Again. Dr.C

Doc...Thank you for the equipment info. I've just moved into the NIKON digital camp - used to shoot film with Canon stuff...lots of new "little stuff" to learn with digital...post processing is a black science unto itself!!

I'm trying to learn as much as possible - so I'm using YOUR PICTURES as inspiration to do better...comparing my feable attempts to your works of art! PLEASE keep your pictures coming!!! I look forward to seeing them each day!

Phalanx: I do not have photoshop, the post processing that I do is done by way of DPP , a Canon program, usually something simple like a crop. The rest of that stuff is over my head and way overdone in my opinion. Dr.C

Dr. C....I only have Photoshop v.7...old version that I don't know much about nor how to use properly. I agree that too much PP messed many a fine photo!! SOME HDR photos come out great...too much HDR looks fake and horrible...

OTOH...YOUR pictures are always stunning and are worth TWO million words! Please keep the inspirations coming...
