These were taken last summer. Each year, I go through my pictures and put together a book. I've mentioned this before, but http://www.blurb.com is a great way to save important pictures in book form. The cost ends up being less than a dollar per page, and then they usually have a sale, so it's even cheaper. The last book I did had around 300 pictures in it, and I can't remember exactly, but I remember thinking it was comparable to getting 300 prints made at Wal Mart.
Anyway, I'm going through my pictures now, and came across these two pictures. I liked the effects in Photoshop, I blur the background and then its a gradient color effect on top. I think Blizzard's picture (the first one) turned out nicer. The background was further away, which helped. But Rainy's fur is pretty neat too.
Blizzard just got out of the pool and that's water dripping off his mouth.
Rainy is scared of the water. But she likes to just sit and watch us swim.
