The specs of the sr1911 says that the twist is 1:16", which sounds right, the brown envenelope says that it has 6 grooves R.H., turns 1 in 10". Now which is right, or am I misreading something?
Wondered myself. following message sent and response received. The Envelope is incorrect as stated in the Ruger response below.

I have an SR1911. I noticed that the web site specifies a 1 in 16" twist for the rifling.
Strangely enough, the fired cartridge case envelope specifies 1 in 10" inch.
Which one is correct?

I am sorry, the label on your casing was a misprint. The SR1911 does have a 1:16" right hand twist.
