TV switcheroo.............

One of our favorite TV programs is Wheel of Fortune. It was preempted last Friday night due to the storm coverage, which began just before the program was to come on.

But tonight, as we watched it, there was no sound due to "technical difficulties." But what happened was sort of bizarre. The first half of the program we watched with no sound. Then came the commercial break, and the program came back on, this time with sound. But the contestants were different. Where the man on the end was sort of average size, and white, he was now a tall, thin black man!

Seems the local station, WMC-TV Channel 5, decided to show the remainder of Friday night's program which was not seen in our area. Novel, to say the least!

The first half of W of F was an info-commercial, here in SW Virginia. At about 715 PM (EST), Wheel came on.

Someone handling the 'feed connection' pushed the wrong button. Happens a lot here. A few days back, the local sports guy would do his lead in for a 15 second game clip and nothing happened. After the third failure, he just walked off camera and didn't return. I thought it was funny as heck.

Here at 9 pm, just when Hannity comes on Fox channel 38 goes "pixilated" and then dark for a little over an hour....hhhmmmmmm

That is funny, They could make the episode viewable on their youtube channel and just move on instead of switching just like that.
