Tshirt return

I bought some T-shirts on shopruger.com couple of weeks ago when they were on sale. I like them all except for one that seems to be a little bigger and a little heavier than I thought it was going to be.
So I decided to exchange it. Come to find out it's going to cost me $10 to ship back a t-shirt that I paid $12.99 for and I want to exchange for a different shirt that costs only 10.99.

I think I'll just keep it for a while lol

Sounds like an early Christmas shopping event. I watch for deals and end up getting some for birthdays and Christmas gifts.

I’m on a self imposed no new tshirts or hats order.

I don’t think I can live long enough to wear out all the t shirts or hats I own

When that happened to me, my wife grabbed it for a night shirt.

Me too, plus no new Hawaiian shirts. I wash my shirts in cold water & hang 'em up to dry, because I HATE IT when they shrink & don't fit anymore. Side benefit is, they last almost forever - I'm still wearing shirts from the 1980s & 1990s. And I'm a sucker for hats; already gave away/donated a bunch, and still have 4 or 5 stacks on closet shelves. It was a good day last month, when a family friend who was visiting mentioned he needed a hat, and picked one from my collection to take home!

I do the same thing.

However, just because I have shirts from the '80s and '90s doesn't mean I can still wear those shirts. Lol
I have a lot of hats too. I should get rid of about half of them...

Part of my problem with t shirts, is I was too fat to wear my old ones, but I lost some weight and fit into ones I hadn’t worn in years.

The other problem is I inherited ones my boys out grew. I also have stacks of blue jeans in various sizes. For the same reasons.

Socks and underwear is all I’ve needed to buy for years.

Not complaining. Just an observation.

I have a few cotton striped shirts. That are my good shirts. Sundays and holidays.

It’s funny to see a picture holding an infant and I have no gray hair. Now I’m old and gray, the infant is in college and I still have the shirt!

Issued work uniforms, which I’ve come to like actually. My street clothes last forever, and being as I don’t really follow fashion, I’m awash in old clothes.

Going through old pictures I saw a shirt that was now “documented” as 25 yrs old that was hanging in my closet. Sent what seemed like a rail car of things to salvage center. Ten years on it’s about time for another purge.

Too big and heavy? I'd just save it for a cold weather shirt, and wear it over a Long John shirt... But it probably gets a little colder around here than it does in down there in Georgia.

I found a Tilly hat at the thrift store a few years ago. Great hats. They are elephant proof. If eaten by an elephant, You are supposed to just follow the elephant around to get your hat back.

Then when I was at Contenders, the year before the storm one of the stores there sold Tilly hats. So I bought another.

They are indeed very well made hats. And will certainly last my lifetime.

Tilley’s are fantastic hats. You can order them on line. I have 3 of them! . I told you I had a lot of hats.

In my defense, I have a very large perfect size 8 head. I went for years not being able to find hats that fit. So when I found one I always bought it. Somehow I ended up with a lot if them. Not a bad problem to have.

yes! I have a Tilly that I bet I have had for close to 20 years. I saw it at a gun show, I couldn't believe I paid $60 for a hat. lol It has been a great hat, I wear it when I cut grass and work outside in the summer. Since then I have paid considerably more than $60 for a hat.
