I wrote this post an when I hit preveiw it took me to the log in page so I guess i'll do it again. Went to the range on Friday with my 22, 22-250 and my 7mm Rem mag, shot them in that sequence, starting at 100 meters. The 22 shot 11/4 -11/2 5 shots with CCI velocitors ,22-250 shot 0.7 5 shots and the 7mm shot 0.8 for 3.
Next up I moved the targets for the centerfires to 200 meters the 22-250 shoots 0.65 for 3 shots, I moved the scope up 3 clicks. The 7mm goes 11/4 @ 200 so getting very very happy
Then I moved the targets back to 300 meters movedthe scope on the 22-250 1 clickto the right 1st shot was a misfire fired 3 more then shot the 7mm unfortunatly I pulled the last shot. Now when I got to the targets I was gutted
Whats going on with the 22-250 1shot was so low it was off the paper the other 2 where 61/2 inches low and 3 inches apart I was expecting 4-5 inches low and 11/2 inch group .Was it the ammo or was it parallax error the AO was still set on 200 when I got home. The 7mm was a what could have been with the 1st 2 shots going under 1/2 inchand 5 inches low just like Winchester said and then pulling the last up beside the bull . So any ideas on the 22-250. Yes the scope is tight.
