"Trip Advisor" marked as "dangerous" website

I've used Trip Advisor for many years, and have contributed dozens if not hundreds of reviews myself, including for hotels, restaurants and places of interest. While occasionally being led astray (a really awful motel in North Carolina, among the worst places I have ever stayed, was given outstanding reviews and listed as one of the best places to stay in Maggie Valley) it has mostly been a helpful and down to earth website for deciding where to stay and eat while away from home. But today when I attempted to go to tripadvisor.com, my Norton security software stopped me, saying that the website was dangerous, with risks of harm to my computer if I continued. I have no idea why this happened today and not earlier, but wonder if something recently had changed at the website to change it from a safe to a dangerous site. Just thought I would pass this along to any members of the Forum who might not use security software while surfing the web.

No notices on any of my machines for Trip Advisor. I'm not using Norton AV, however. I hope you got a chance to visit Wheels Through Time while you were in Maggi Valley. Mecca for motorcycle lovers. :D

Got the warning on my machine when I clicked your link. I also have Norton.

Worked fine for me. No dangerous website or other messages at all.

I'm also a long time contributor.

Very odd. I tried again to go to Trip Advisor and the link worked with no interference from the Norton software. No idea why it happened previously. I had considered trying to disable the Norton Anti-Virus software and re-starting Windows Defender but I couldn't figure out how to re-start Defender so I left things as they were and just clicked on my "Favorites" again to go to Trip Advisor and it worked find.

Millions (billions?) of computers all on the same network competing for access to other computers. Why this should be absolutely flawless.
