298598, No box. Flatgate, so I guess early, Unconverted. 3 screw. Good condition.
You sure that s/n is a tri-color or a lightweight?
I thought they ended at 205250?

It would have to be a blued LW.
Unless I'm looking at RENE wrong,
I don't see any single sixes with a 29XXXX serial......
..yessir careful how you re record (write down ) the serial numbers, makes a BIG, BIG difference in dealing with Dads guns.....apples & apples Good luck to you Sir....

yes, it makes a difference I've had our #209,93x at a few shows lately and no one even looks at it..........lightweight , with the steel cylinder LWSC............
Dan, the LWSC guns don't look "different" enough to draw attention. Kind of a shame.

If it's a true Tri-Color Lightweight,, with everything correct,, no box,, and in excellent condition,, top end pricing is around $1100.00 according to the RENE Guide. Condition,, if less than excellent,, value goes down. If it has an "S" on the frame,, values go up.
Gunbroker completed auctions will be your most realistic benchmark on what people will pay. Opinions are just that 
The unboxed tri-color at Poulins last auction brought $1300 + commission.
