I've discovered that I'm a better shot if I take my dentures out. Who knew? Also I figure if you get into a confrontation you can pop them out and throw them at the bad guy while you get your own gun out. Should distract him enough to give you an edge. :mrgreen:

Had a buddy of mine who was a scraper love to mix it up after he had a few.
You could always tell when he'd go off on someone, he'd slide his choppers in his back pocket. ps

That could bite you in the buttock! Or break them as you fell on your keister?

True story,

I have had full dentures for several years.. Once, at a party, I was standing near the table where the food was, and a friend told a joke.. I laughed so hard, my uppers fell out and went **PLOP** right into the punch bowl...... I was so embarrassed and humiliated I fished my dentures out, and left the party..

My friends were all laughing so hard, I thought I was going to die from embarrassment..... I have since learned the benefits of Poly-Grip..

Funny stuff, especially about the bite out of crime and the punch bowl. I was once with a relative who sneezed and blew out her choppers in a store.

DANG;
I need all my rotten teeth on the upper jaw yanked out and replaced with false ones. If I ever get the money (Haven't had the heart to check into the cost) I want some of those that got the posts the falsies snap onto so they don't fall out. It's going to take an oral surgeon fer sure.

As a teen I would umpire summer little league ball games. i called a ground ball foul and the coach came screaming out on the field. He was showing me it was a fair ball when his dentures hit the ground, end of discussion.

Right after my dad got his new dentures he was standing next to his lake when he sneezed. Blew them into the water. His buddies at work got him a small fish net so he could catch them when he sneezed.

Have a friend who is very thrifty.
One time while eating, one of her denture teeth came out,and she swallowed it.
A few days later ,she said she had "found it" and super glued it back in!

My father was a boxer ( welterweight) in his youth, in the 1930's. When I was a kid, he used to tell me where he lost his teeth (he was missing several). He remembered exactly the fight, the other guy's name, even the round number. Apparently, they didn't have good tooth protection in those days.

Oh, I forgot to mention, in one fight my uncle kept spitting out his teeth.

Nice eh...?

Was his name "Sue"? :lol:

Thanks Gunny, I hadn't heard that one in a long time. Definitely one of his good ones. Kind of reminds me if my first wife-Sue, mean in all the subtle ways! At least she kept her teeth?
