That is a BEAUT.
I have always wondered...having seen bits n pieces...as well as your room...do you shoot some/any/none of them?
I get not shooting the "collectible" stuff...but how do you draw the line?
ALL the stuff I've seen of yours is the "NICE" stuff...will you, say, shoot any of these Colts...?
I have what I have...and out of all of it, there is but one I have yet to shoot, an OM 4 5/8" Blackhawk in 357 from this forum, that as close to "new" as i'm likely ever gonna be able to get/afford (price was right, too, I admit). Was in the box, with all the "stuff" (minus the wax paper); an easy 98/99% piece. I'm pretty sure it didn't get a half a box of shells thru it (owner b4 me said he bought it "unfired"...
Had EVERY intention of using it...till I saw it. And so, it sets. Not an easy task, 'cause the WANT is there, lol....but something says "collectible!"
But what do I know? I never thought there was a piece I would spend on just to look @ and say I have it, and such was NOT my intent with the above...but here I am.
And I still don't get it/understand how y'all go about it/decide.
Sure as hell don't know how I got there
