TIPPMANN 22LR GATLING GUN

Looks like fun for a few minutes but it's a lot of uselessness for $4500. JMO
I’d have to second that. I had one of the kits that took two 10-22’s and made a gatling gun type configuration. Lots of fun for a day or so. But definitely an ammo eater. The novelty wears off quickly.

I happen to like Gatling guns. Heavy and all, but fun. They can rapidly deplete your ammo supply.

A friend of mine made his own as practice for a real one.

Decades ago,, I think it was Iver Johnson who made a 1/3 scale Gatling gun in .22 RF. I could be wrong on the maker.
However,, one of the ones they made was given to the Gatling family. Mrs. Gatling was from Asheville NC at one point,, and somehow her family had it locally. I know where it now lives. It's brass, and cool as heck looking.
Sadly,, it's owner was buried last week, and I'm not sure what the family will do with his collection. They are hunters & shooters, but not to the level of collecting as my friend was. But I will get an update on it later.

I had been invited to shoot it with my friend,, but we never got around to doing so.

Yep,, it'd be fun,, and in .22 RF,, not terribly expensive to shoot.

As opposed to an original 45-70 - the cheapest ammo at Midway is $2.40 a round. That's over $85 to fire per magazine.

A friend had two of the full length Gatlings. A hoot to shoot! He reloaded a lot of ammo and took one or both to SASS meets. It was very nice to see him on the highway with two canvas covered Gatlings on his trailer.

Here his one a friend of mine has that he takes to SASS matches. He lets people shoot it for $1.00 a round. They are fun to shoot.
If you don't want to buy the 22LR for $4500 probably not going to want this one for $23,000 ;) ;) It is called a Camel Gun.

My friend takes his to the NSSA matches he shoots. He also restored an Ager Coffee Mill Gun.
